Royal living- in Westonbirt language camp
Welcome to Gloucestershire, the "Royal County"! Home to many members of the royal family and one of the most distinguished of them all, Prince Charles, lives right next door in the famous Highgrove.
You will also feel princely at our Westonbirt camp: it really does resemble a castle! If you are one of our younger campers, you’ll live in the main building in the roomy four to six bedded rooms. Older campers live in single, double and three bedded rooms in the adjacent upper level house, the Sixth Form Block.

Activities
Outside of the classroom there are lots of opportunities to put into practice the newly learnt vocabulary on activities and excursions. Perhaps you wouldn’t expect anything modern in such an old historic house…if so you’ll be even more astonished by our impressive facilities at Westonbirt. The sports center, which was only just built a few years ago, includes a large, well equipped gym and a heated swimming pool, tennis courts, art and computer rooms. For those destined for the stage then our drama activities or brand new dance course with regular performances in the theatre will surely help put your name up in lights! Then when it’s time to chill, bracelet making, poster painting and banner making are great ways to pass the time.
Did we forget anything? - Oh yes, a 9 hole golf course, location of our "Golf Beginner" course. :-)
A wonderful setting for education
Thus, Westonbirt College speaks for itself and deserves its great reputation.
Here, English lessons are centered around fun! It would be best if you have already had a minimum of two years’ English classes before coming to Westonbirt. If you have had even more years of English, that’s great; we offer courses at Preliminary, Intermediate and Advanced Level. Within the three levels, we divide campers later on into different courses based on the outcome of a placement test. With this, we guarantee homogenous groups for maximum learning efficiency.
