10 to 16 Years

Welcome to Walnutree Manor! Our camp is located in the quaint county of Suffolk in East Anglia. It is smaller than our other sites and is thus perfect for small groups during Easter, Pentecost and in the Fall.
Petite, but sweet- and with an incredible recreation programme!
Previously an independent boarding school, Xplore and Klub Group Adventure have recently developed this venue into an all year round adventure activity and education centre. At Walnutree Manor you can choose to come for 1 week only or for longer, perfect for those wanting to try a shorter period first time round.
Our cozy Manor House has altogether around 80 beds. We will live in newly renovated 2 to 6 bedded rooms in the old mansion. Because of the many lovely common rooms, it is really quite nice here during the colder months of the year. It’s great for any and all participants who wish to test out "camp life" for a week.
Of course even though you’re only spending one week here, you’ll want to do all the activities Xplore can offer! You’ll find plenty to do with our full programme: archery, quad motor bikes, milk crate stacking, arts and crafts, Disco, a campfire under the stars, and many other awesome activities. There’s even an indoor range for air rifles!
When it gets dark outside, we’ll use the sport fields with floodlights or the gym. There the balcony is also used as a stage for the popular evening shows- where you and your friends can show off your talents.
English for YOU!
It makes no difference whether you’ve just started learning English or are already proficient- in Walnutree we have all learning levels available, from Breakthrough to Advanced. Because the camp from Pentecost to the fall season is relatively small and lasts for just one week, the English lessons are intensive and designed to make the most out of time spent in the classroom.
Furthermore our British counselors have a lot of time, outside of the recreation programme, to engage you in English conversations. Don’t be surprised to find yourself practicing English with your neighbours over meals and during our afternoon Tea Time.
